Five hits just isn't gonna do it.

All night it seemed like their balls were finding a hole---either right up the middle or between short and third---and ours were not. Crazy game, this baseball. The Rost Bros. both hit rockets that I still cannot believe were caught. We call those "loud outs" (to be fair, nice plays were made by CF Bachman and LF Wagner).

We left the bases loaded in the second inning, which didn't help. But New Prague left ten men stranded on the evening, compared to our eight. The difference is that they had thirteen hits and we only managed five.

DB battled. Drew was gritty as ever in relief. The Orioles came out on top. We turn the page.

Okay, so now, with a trip to the State Tourney and the season on the line, we travel to Prior Lake on Friday evening to take on St. Patrick. First pitch 7:30PM CDT. Let's get silly.
