Season Over: Muskies Lose to Nisswa in 3rd Round of State Tourney
9/9/2015

At the end of the day, Nisswa hit the ball and we didn't, it's pretty much that simple. I don't have a whole lot to say about the game other than that. There are some interesting stats about what did and didn't do, but it doesn't matter at this point. As you can tell, I'm a little bummed we didn't do more.

Just like last year in the State Tourney, we won our first two games and lost our third. Nisswa ended up making it to the semi-finals, so at least we didn't get beat by a dumpy team. We tip our cap to the Lightning, they were better that day, and that's all that matters.

Thanks to our draftees, they were a lot of fun to have around: Ben Morrison, Justin Hackett, Matt Perkinson. Good dudes.

Thanks to all of our fans who made the journey each week, you gave us so much energy and made it so fun to play.

I still feel good about this squad. I feel like our best baseball is still ahead of us. Now it's time to stare out the window and wait for the seasons to change a few times so we can do it all again. El Web Maestro out. For now.

P.S. I'll post some end of season notes at some point. There were a few noteworthy records set this year.
