Fish Fall to Faribault
7/14/2019

Cool moment before the game: the Faribault baseball community retired long-time high school coach turned Muskies first base coach Rick Rost's number. He threw out the first pitch and had a nice moment with his family around the mound. Baseball is neat like that. Someone needs to bring back those powder blue jerseys, just sayin'...

We left ten more men on base this afternoon. That's twenty-two in the last two games.

The Nate Rost pitched a solid game, going six innings, giving up a measly two hits and zero walks while fanning three. He allowed two runs, both of which were unearned.

Tip o' the cap to Faribault, though. They got big hits when they needed to, and capitalized on a few fielding snafus. Porter Sartor came in with just one out in the first and finished the game, allowing six hits, three walks, and striking out nine.

Tough luck loss for TNR and the fellas.

We take on Elko this Friday evening in Elko at 7:30. Hope to see ya there.
